WP:NOR and armchair linguistics[edit]

Please familiarize yourself with WP:NOR. Based on some of your edits it would appear you have a person theory about etymology of some theonyms which contradicts the consensus and is not supported by any sources - there's no evidence Shamash's name is a cognate of Shimige, but there's clear evidence for it being related both to ordinary words for the sun and to solar theonyms in virtually every single language from the Semitic family. You cannot add personal speculation to wikipedia articles. Same goes for the deeply puzzling addition of gods from completely unrelated cultures to infoboxes as "equivalents".
