The HMHS Dorsetshire was a hospital ship during World war I. It was sunk by an air attack in the Aegean sea. This ship was said to be a hospital ship. As it was it also carried war supplies and weapons down below in it's cargo hold this was against the ship being a hospital ship but the army needed supplies. Many Germans were suspicious about the ship carrying war supplies. They didn't like this Germans soon went aboard and spied on the ship and discovered that it carry war supplies and in reality. It was the same day it was sunk by the air attack by the Luftwaffe the ship was bombed 14 times which vaporized the ship and literally blew up pieces of hull all around it. With only 4 surviving which were only officers and one medical employee,No lifeboats at all were launched. Because when the first bomb hit it blew off every lifeboat .It was the most horrible sinking in the UK in 1915.
