Link no longer good.[edit]

In reference #3, the Antiques Roadshow Detectives episode referenced was linked to YouTube. The copyright was apparently invoked because it is gone from there. This is the e-ddress of information on the episode from the BBC Two show's website: "Lorina Bulwer", season 1, episode 2. . Unfortunately, it cannot be played, though the trailer can be viewed.

I went to edit in the BBC Two e-ddress in lieu of YouTube, but all that appeared to me was a list of categories with nothing to edit. Jimney Cricket! Maybe one day I will search out how to handle Wikipedia citations.

Blogs used.[edit]

Note that the citations from the "Frayed: Textiles on the Edge" blog are from the museum that holds one of Ms Bulwer's samplers, Norwich Castle Museum in England and the entries were written by a curator. There is no merchandising at the blog. These criteria should be acceptable to Wikipedia.

The "The Knitting Genealogist – Hemingway & Hunt" blog referenced is not known to me. The publisher, PLH, writes that she is a "Writer, crafter, textile historian, Great Wheel spinner, handspinner and dyer". (The e-mail address is to Penelope Hemingway = PLH?, who is also selling a book she wrote through the site.) This may not meet Wikipedia criteria for blogs.

Length of another sampler added.[edit]

I added the length of the sampler auctioned by Christie's in 2002. It is currently held by Norwich Castle Museum, UK. The Antiques Roadshow Detectives episode that featured the Museum's holding gave the length measurement as "nearly 8 meters" while Christie's provided an overall measurement of 190 inches/ 483 cm (15.81 ft/ 4.83 m) I would tend to trust the auction house over an off-the-cuff statement from AR as they have a vested interest describing their lots very well. If you want to add the Christie's webpage as a reference, please do so. I do not get adding or editing citations at all. >_<
