Sources need to be found that demonstrate this built-up area is referenced outside of NOMIS reports, otherwise there is a notability concern. Rupples (talk) 00:41, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Rupples Notability has not been demonstrated, though the notability template was removed today without comment. I have replaced it. AfD might be the best next step, or proposing a merge into City of Lancaster, as this BUA is a part of that district and might merit a mention, or even a subsection, in the "Settlements" section. The only links in are Lancashire#Human Geography and Lancaster, Lancashire#Geography, but rather surprisingly no links from Morecambe and Heysham. If merge/redirected, the map and a sentence stating the three settlements form a larger urban area could be replicated in the three articles leaving the Lancashire link retargeted to one of these. There are recent news references to Lancaster and Morecambe district though and the joint name is used for the Chamber of Commerce, police station, college and other sports/charities/heritage groups.
