Rat Bastard Protective Association[edit]

It appears that this artist was an original member of the Rat Bastard Protective Association. I am interested in the RBPA. The dates for the RBPA would be from c.1959 to today, for example: Manuel Neri, Joan Brown, Jay DeFeo, Wally Hedrick, Wallace Berman, Jess, and George Herms. However, little or no material pertains to the RBPA on this page? Does any editor have any thoughts on this? [1]--Ratbastardassn (talk) 20:45, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note from an Editor[edit]

This article was pretty bare when I first started dealing with it. Originally, there wasn't much about her background and her schooling. It was interesting to me to see that she had such a rough family life and went to all Catholic schools throughout her entire time in grade school, so I included these interesting facts in this article. I also split up her career into early career and later career to show the difference in her art as she learned and went through different phases in her life. This was important in describing how she started to get into art in the first place and how her styles and techniques changed over the years. I also explained how her marriages, as well as what came out of them, helped her to grow as an artist and helped shape her to what she became in the art world. I also added a Legacy tab. This tab focuses on how she died and a little bit about her teaching. I was, unfortunately, not able to find as much information on her teaching as I would have liked. I looked in so many places to try to find some information about this, but was unsuccessful. If another editor comes along, I would suggest that they focus on finding information for that. One issue I did have, however, was I was told that I had an issue with a source that I used. However, this source and the information from this source was actually not my doing and was previously there before I came and edited the page. I fixed the issue and corrected the citation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wurley1604 (talkcontribs) 20:50, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
